ready to rip down the chimney

digging the footings..
hardcore spread to try and persuade the concrete guy he can back onto the drive
uses his own mini dumper instead..
concrete in the trench.. just about to cover the boxed drains
blockwork starting - grab lorry getting rid of some earth
ready for the vapour barrier and reinforcing grid
ready for concrete..
which arrived at about 7am..
couple of days in!
looks tall
they were heavy
scaffolding arrives
dad and I got the joists on
fire place and side windows
starting to go up..
nearly to upstairs windows (sorry I realise this is getting dull)
Upstairs!!
being forward of the rest of the house and the fact that the land drops away to the front and right makes this seem very high..
